Sounds like the plant was getting a little long in the tooth. How close were they to particularizing? Seems as though a worship attendance of 45 was little low for viability.
That is a good question. I believe a particularization / congregational meeting was scheduled for October 2020, however I don't believe that meeting ever took place. 45 does seem small, but it was also 2020, so perhaps there were other folks associated with the church plant who were supporters, but did not regularly attend. But maybe they were confident the Lord would give growth. Jonesboro is a town of 70k people, a State University with RUF, and only one PCA congregation. The harvest is plentiful! I
